TACS•XL® Blue Label Kit

TACS•XL® Blue Label Kit is a complete kit for the in situ detection of DNA fragmentation.  This modified TUNEL assay based kit on incorporation of bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) at the 3’ OH ends of the DNA fragments that are formed during apoptosis and a specific antibody to BrdU resulting in a high signal-to-noise ratio and less sensitivity to protease-induced false positive labeling than digoxigenin or biotin-based kits.

TACS•XL® Blue Label Kit is designed for use with fixed frozen or paraffin embedded tissue sections.  All the reagents required for the labeling and detection of fragmented DNA and to assist in the identification of apoptotic morphologies are provided including two permeabilization reagents, labeling and detection reagents, stop buffers, TACS Blue Label™ and Nuclear Fast Red counterstain as well as TACS-Nuclease™ for generating positive controls with your own samples.
