Cell Invasion Assays
Trevigen’s Cultrex® Cell Invasion Assays were originally created in an effort to accelerate the screening process for compounds that influence cellular invasion through extracellular matrices, which is fundamental to angiogenesis, embryonic development, immune responses, and tumor cell metastasis. To provide a platform for the analysis of responses to chemokines, toxins, drugs and other analytes of interest, assays have been developed in 24 and 96 well formats.

Kits (8)
For evaluating cell invasion, we offer Basement Membrane Matrix, Laminin I, Collagen IV, and Collagen I invasion. We also have kits containing pre-coated plates possessing high, medium, or low coating densities of basement membrane matrix which provide the optimal invasion barrier for highly, moderately, or poorly invasion cell lines, respectively. These kits are available in 24 and 96 well formats, providing convenient options based on study size. These kits provide standardized, turnkey alternatives to BioCoat™ Matrigel® coated inserts and plates. -
Reagents (8)
Trevigen offers Boyden chambers coated with high, medium, or low coating densities of basement membrane matrix with the different coating densities providing the optimal invasion barrier for highly, moderately, or poorly invasive cell lines, respectively. These chambers are available as 24 individual inserts, providing flexibility for small studies, or as a single 96 well plate, providing a convenient format for large studies. Trevigen also offers inserts, plates, and reagents for researchers to perform their own coating and quantification separately, including coating solutions for Basement Membrane Matrix, Laminin I, Collagen IV, and Collagen I. These products provide standardized, turnkey alternatives to BioCoat™ Matrigel® coated inserts and plates.
