Matrix Protein Coated Labware

Trevigen offers several different types of CultreCoat™ extracellular matrix-coated labware for easy, rapid and reproducible quantification of cell function. These products are available as standardized kits or individual reagents for cell invasion or vascular permeability. The 24 and 96 well plates are coated using standardized reagents under stringent environmental conditions. The protein coating efficiency must conform to stringent specifications, ensuring lot to lot consistency.

    Several kit formats have been developed containing matrix protein coated labware.  For cell invasion, we offer kits possessing high, medium, or low coating densities of basement membrane matrix which provide the optimal invasion barrier for highly, moderately, or poorly invasion cell lines, respectively. These kits are available in 24 and 96 well formats, providing convenient options based on study size.  For evaluating vascular permeability, similar kits are available for promoting endothelial cell adhesion and assembly of an intact vascular sheet to evaluate factors that disrupt vascular integrity.  These kits provide standardized, turnkey alternatives to BioCoatTM Matrigel® coated inserts and plates.

      Several plates and inserts are available for the matrix protein coated labware.  For cell invasion, we offer Boyden chambers coated with high, medium, or low coating densities of basement membrane matrix with the different coating densities providing the optimal invasion barrier for highly, moderately, or poorly invasion cell lines, respectively. These chambers are available as 24 individual inserts, providing flexibility for small studies, or as a single 96 well plate, providing a convenient format for large studies.  For evaluating vascular permeability, similar chambers containing much smaller membrane pores are coated with collagen I to promote endothelial cell adhesion and assembly of an intact vascular sheet to evaluate factors that disrupt vascular integrity.  These products provide standardized, turnkey alternatives to BioCoatTM Matrigel® coated inserts and plates.
